Personal Training

One-on-one personal training is the most efficient way to produce results. Through uninterrupted support and attention, personalized workouts lay out a direct route to your specific goals while abiding by your schedule.

After assessing your biomechanics, strength level, movement patterns, and lifestyle demands, I create an individualized program that is offered in a private setting.

Virtual Training

It’s personal training but with Zoom! Whether you choose to workout at home or at your own local gym, your custom program will be centered on your goals, using the equipment available to you. 

Communication is streamlined with the TruCoach App. We will use it to post videos and exchange feedback. Your workouts are written in a very easy to follow format that you will be able to keep and access as you need.

Virtual training has two options:

Hybrid training: we meet twice a week via Zoom.

Remote: Receive your workouts through email and schedule progress check ins to receive vital feedback from me.

Group strength training classes

Are you a social butterfly who learns better in a group? Barbell Club is for you! 

Beginners and seasoned athletes are welcome to jump in every Tuesday and Thursday at Edge Strength & Conditioning.  Time? Drop ins or membership required? Click through to sign up?

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30pm. Drop in price and class packages.  (I will have a link for this to the Edges mindbody to register)

This class is comprised of functional movement patterns like squatting, pushing and pulling. You will work on strength training with proper form and technique, as well as on core-specific exercises. Modifications and progressions will be tailored to suit your individual needs and goals. 

Come to work towards a specific goal, or simply to improve the quality of your daily life movements.

Prenatal Fitness Training

When it comes to pregnancy, both die-hard gym-goers and beginner athletes need a coach who has made a specific effort to learn the physiology and mechanics of women’s bodies.

I leverage my knowledge as a highly experienced trainer, my education in women’s health and fitness specialty courses as well as my personal experience as a mother in my prenatal classes.

Every day, there is more and more research showing that exercise can help support a healthy pregnancy. 

My Strong as a Mother program is a class dedicated to facilitating the ever changing physical and mental needs of a mother throughout all the stages of pregnancy. Any woman who desires to move will benefit from this class.  We modify and adapt to where you are at in your own personal journey.  In class you can expect to learn and work on:

  • Breathing techniques

  • Core and pelvic floor activation and relaxation

  • Strength training for building endurance 

  • Preparing for labor and delivery

  • Joining community of women supporting each other

8 Week Online Postpartum Program

The postpartum period is a unique time in your life, so you should train accordingly  

This is an 8 week guide for returning to exercise after childbirth.  Whether you enjoy running, strength training, dance, CrossFit, HIIT, barre (you name it!), you need a structured and progressive approach to rehabilitating your core and pelvic floor before returning to the activities you love.

We use the principles of core activation, strength training, mobility training, and progressive overload to help you:

  • Recover from birth

  • Restore muscle-mind connection to your core and pelvic floor

  • Rebuild foundations of strength

  • Return to the exercises you love safely and effectively

This program includes three workouts per week for 8 weeks, delivered online via the TrueCoach platform (an App that is free to you).  You will also be invited to join a private Facebook group where you can ask questions and seek guidance from your coaches, Meghan and Ellen.

While this is specifically designed for anyone who has just received their postpartum medical clearance, we strongly believe this program is valuable to anyone struggling with their postpartum return to exercise, no matter how far postpartum they are.
